I've been thinking of the #StarTrek #DS9 Episode "Trials and Tribbelations" - the one where a bunch of folks from DS9 went back in time into the TOS episode "The Trouble With Tribbles", and Sisko got an autograph from Kirk under pretenses of needing paperwork signed, and, well... I'm pretty sure there must be holonovels in which you can play someone on the crew of the "original" Enterprise.
