If there are any people who are interested in helping with a relatively minor (in terms of code changes) #mastodev project, I'm going to be trying a retooling of the UI and would love if some people would contribute to it.
I'm going to create an issue on my instance's fork relating to it and post the link in a follow-up, so keep an eye out for that toot in a little while.

Some of these are extremely trivial changes - like the default settings one - but some of the others like the quicknav bar changes are a little above my current skill level and will require a great deal of work for me, so if it looks easy for you, please go ahead and do it and submit a PR for the issue.
