@emaree looks good, maybe at "a person will always present as the gender they identify as" drop in a mention of closeted trans people not feeling safe enough to come out- putting it in terms the cis LGBQ folks will have used about themselves to drive home the message.

@emaree you could also collect stats around how rare the instance of the "deceptive transsexual" fear is in reality, and point out that the just approach is to ensure *everyone* is safe regardless of gender in shared sleeping areas

@emaree The things you've had to say here are important, but the way you've said them could be better. ^^;

Phrases like "Are you for real?" will immediately put them on the defensive and ignore you. Speak to the matter, not the emotion. As an example, for that last bullet point:

"There is no office or organization qualified to determine the authenticity of a transgender person, as any trans friendly therapist will tell you; such a qualification is only transphobic rhetoric."
