Katrani Merack @katrani

basically my reading plans for the year are, in no particular order:
-finish reading books so i can chat with friends about them
-pick up any other titles i can find
-other notable 60s-70s lady writers?
-attempt more but might just stick with short anthologies instead of novels
-get into roots with
-make a targeted effort for more modern books, starting with

@katrani I am a huge fan of Asimov's writing and I HIGHLY recommend focusing on his anthologies. Even his novels are basically just a string of short stories loosely stitched together, it's really his primary medium.

@katrani If you happen to see a copy of "Nightfall And Other Stories", that one is an excellent anthology.

@katrani Oh, LeGuin also wrote science fiction, in case you were wondering.

@InspectorCaracal nice! I'm never sure cause sci-fi and fantasy get lumped together all the time and i'm just here like Plz Stop I Just Want Dragons and Mages, tho stuff like Cinder has me back into sci-fi books

@katrani I read a collection of scifi stories by LeGuin and the first(?) story in it is about this person whose dreams become reality and it was very strange and stuck with me.
