Things I've learned in my 8 months as a mom:
- You never know what you are doing (but don't worry neither does the others)
- Write stuff down if you want to remember them, you won't recall them again (grocery, appointments, name of your spouse)
- Clean clothes is a mythical legend
- You have to add 30 minutes to any travel time, that's how long it'll take to get out of the door

@nuhn 6 years in and I'm still trying to figure out that last one.

@karyl My mother in law is always 15 minutes early. I suspect she's still on "parent time" from when her sons were kids.
