#PSA When writing a customs declaration, keep in mind that you are not writing it for yourself, to know what exactly is in the package, or for the recipient, who presumably expects the package, but for customs agents who have no clue BUT your customs declaration as to the contents.
So, to pick two examples from kickstarters I supported, "Smartphone" is more useful than "Jelly Pro"; "Leather backpacks" is more useful than "DB1 overnighter set pl chocolate"

hey mastodon, my library is doing some heavy collection development heading into next year and we're looking to fill some gaps in our collection and we've hit kind of a wall on this one so:
does anyone have recommendations/suggestions for adult fiction books either written by or featuring trans men or nonbinary people?
-not looking for YA at this point, just adult fiction
-has to be published within the last ~5 years
-trans/nb protagonists written by trans/nb authors would be great but i'll take a look at any combination of the above

Every time a god is dreamt up by a human fictional or not, it becomes real. The more they are talked about, the stronger they become. The pantheons of Dungeons and Dragons are starting to pose a threat.

Also, how far back can we read toots on Mastodon? I know Twitter only actively shows you so far back along the timeline (though it seems you can search and find older tweets). Is this something standard across the fediverse, or determined by instance? Should I plan on saving my micro-fics somewhere off-site? @InspectorCaracal @phildini @Annalee I guess these might be good questions for you admin folks?
